To ANDREW

Good work Andrew. I suggest you read the Review 1 brief carefully, with special attention on Page 2 and have a go at making clear spatial proposals on the site for the terminal building.  You will have seen a number of ways of doing this on Thursday, and also seen the kind of very useful discussion that can take place afterwards. It's not about making the best design ever at this stage, it's about making step 1 of many, many.

I wonder if you saw this in the Telegraph?

  1. The work was already on the board, i just didn't present it... Out of interest, when are our next tutorials going to be?

The video here shows a test flight of the same vehicle which is mind blowing (the way they just stop the rotation of the 'saucer')... The balloon is used in a similar way to the Felix Baumgartner jump to get the payload to a high enough altitude so that less fuel is required to get the payload into space. Although this is incredibly interesting, I think my project has moved away from this kind of r&d aspect.

  2. Tutorials are scheduled on the google calendar!
Make sure you present work! Remember we see several hundred drawings each Review day, and you really do need to 'present' them, rather than just have them on the board. I was referring to the 'emotional' work of picking up and dusting off more than the drawn work..
